A small dorid with paired appendages beside the gills, feeding on entoprocts.
Small dorids, usually under 15 mm, with a smooth body and two pairs of slender appendages: one beside the rhinophores and one flanking the gills. That arrangement identifies the genus and separates it from every other small pale dorid on the same ground. Ground colour is white, cream or yellow, marked variably in black, orange or brown; the pattern differs between species and several regional animals are undescribed.
They feed on entoprocts, minute stalked animals that grow in colonies on sponges, bryozoans and hydroids, so they are found on the growth rather than out on sediment, and a colony that holds one often holds several. Recorded from about 5 to 25 m on rubble, sponge and jetty structure.
